I. The firm
Forty years on the same ground
Nazih Dergham opened the firm in 1985 and it has stayed in the family since. The crews are ours. The concrete gets poured by people whose names we know, on sites we can reach in an afternoon.
That counts for more in Lebanon than it would elsewhere. Currency moves, power cuts out, a supplier goes quiet for a month. A contractor who has worked through all of it prices the job honestly and finishes it anyway.

A building isn’t finished when the scaffolding comes down. We remain accountable until the last detail performs as intended.
III. What we build
Six things we do, all of them in house
Nothing on this list gets handed to a nominated subcontractor and forgotten. Our own people answer for it.

Structure and shell
Excavation, foundations, the concrete frame and the envelope that closes it. We self perform most of it.

Interiors
Stone, joinery, plaster, lighting. Sally leads this work from the first mood board to the last fitting.

Design and build
Drawings and construction under one contract, which is how most of our projects run.

Renovation
Occupied buildings, phased handovers, and sites too tight for a tower crane.
05
Project management
One schedule, one contract, one person who answers the phone and knows the answer.
06
Development
Our own projects, priced in USD, carried from the land purchase through to the sale.
IV. Our process
From first conversation to final handover

Discovery & Site
We walk the plot, read its constraints and agree on what the project has to achieve.

Design & Definition
Architecture, interiors and permits developed together until every decision is resolved on paper.
03
Cost & Tender
Quantities priced item by item, tenders compared, and a budget you can hold us to.
04
Construction
Site supervision, coordination and weekly reporting, with the same people who drew it.
05
Handover
Snagging, testing, as-built drawings and keys, checked room by room before you take them.
06
Post-Completion
We stay reachable after handover and answer for the building as it settles into use.

Nazih Dergham founded the practice in 1985, establishing its foundation in architecture, construction and a hands-on approach to building.
Zaher Dergham
Architect · Managing Director
An architect with an MBA from the Lebanese American University, Zaher leads the practice today across design, development and execution.
Sally Dergham
Architect · Interiors & Design
Sally Dergham is an architect specialising in interiors and the detailed design of residential spaces.
